For this residency, we are honored to welcome Chef Takashi Yagihashi back to Chef’s Table as he returns to Detroit, a city that played a defining role in his career. Known for his elegant fusion of Japanese, French, and American influences, Chef Takashi brings a refined omakase experience shaped by decades of culinary innovation and discipline.

Chef’s Table is a communal dining experience at Detroit Foundation Hotel, designed for culinary residencies that are each distinctly Detroit, bringing new taste, technique, and talent to the dining room.

Each chef sets their own pace, from the menu to the style of service, making every iteration entirely its own. Seating is limited, the table is shared, and the kitchen is in full view.
