The Private Dining Rooms Worth Knowing About
Planning a private dinner, an intimate gathering, or a celebration that calls for something more considered than a restaurant buyout? Detroit Foundation Hotel has two rooms worth knowing about.
In a recent roundup of Metro Detroit’s best private dining and small event spaces, Detroit News restaurant critic Melody Baetens highlighted the hotel’s Le Grand Salon, which seats up to 30 for an elegant, seated dinner, and the Borgman Room, both of which are available for private cocktail parties as well. The hotel also accommodates weddings and larger events for groups that need more room.
Both spaces sit within the walls of a restored 1920s firehouse in the heart of downtown Detroit, which means the setting does as much work as the menu. The Apparatus Room’s kitchen handles the food, so guests aren’t trading experience for exclusivity.
Whether the occasion is a birthday dinner, a corporate event, or a celebration that deserves its own room, the team at Detroit Foundation Hotel can make it happen.
