Meet @___elysia___, the Detroit-based ceramic artist behind this installation. A @cranbrook_art MFA graduate and founder of Local Portion, Elysia has spent years pushing the boundaries of what clay can do, especially when it comes to surface and installation work. We're grateful that her work has become part of the experience—a textured backdrop to Detroit's best gatherings.

Interdisciplinary artist Vanessa Beard moves between mediums the way some people move between rooms—naturally, intuitively, and with purpose.

As the founder of @porcelinen, her small-batch Hamtramck studio, she creates hand-built porcelain pieces known for their soft forms, botanical motifs, and quiet sense of nostalgia.

Vanessa is bringing together her two favorite mediums—ceramics and fiber—as the host of 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮 𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗲, a curated holiday market celebrating design, craftsmanship, and the makers who shape Detroit’s creative landscape.
